TRACE-A-PUNCH® Duplicators
This is the easiest, most economical way to produce low production metal and plastic profiles. Trace-A-Punch® follows your guided template to produce burr free straight and contoured outlines and holes. Simple, rugged meehanite casting construction insures very little maintenance. An existing part can be used as the master pattern or one can easily be made by tracing over acetate-plastic .020-1/2" with a sharp scriber or razor knife. An office copier can be used to produce a master by copying on to Mylar-plastic and cutting with scissors.
Tubing Nibbler
The patented Tubing Nibbler is designed for forming tube ends for 1/2" I.D. or larger. The high speed tooling cuts material up to 1/8" mild steel. Interchangeable die anvils are available in 1/4" increments from 1/2" to 2". Acetate templates can be made of slightly larger tubing to slip over the part to be cut, by splitting then expanding a same size tube or using a larger diameter tubing. Clamping of template to the tubing is easy by use of a simple hose clamp. Adjustable stroke height allows for template tracing and punch sharpening.
